Inspiration as a collective power - Warmth for Jii

Fate writes weird stories on certain people’s path, like Jii, a self - taught musician on analogue, ambient/dark, drone, experimental noise & Idm tunes. Jii, who’s also a mother of a girl, was diagnosed with stage 3 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2008. It’s a form of cancer, currently into remission, but might return once the cancer cells are active again.

Jii is now able to work and fund a small health insurance by the state of Minnesota. She had to fight with bureaucracy to get one, because during her illness and recovery she was uninsured. From April 1st she is declared homeless.

The formal aspect of society might have failed to help artists like Jii, but the rest - along with peoples’ hearts - can spontaneously create helping groups, with great results.

Artists, in honour of Jii’s work contributed their beautiful tracks to a digital album, as a fundraiser to help Jii with all her difficulties.

Inspiration is something we share, it brings people together and together we have more power.
